The Home.MarsSociety.org and Chapters.MarsSociety.org subdomains have been set up for Mars Society members to build websites for Mars-related projects and general chapter communication & outreach. Any Mars Society member can set up a website on the server for free and there are no banner advertisement or space limitations.
This server has been provided by the Cyberteams company for use by the Mars Society (as well as other organzations such as the Artemis Society). The server is hosted by pair.com and is located on a major Internet Point of Presence (POP), a place where the Internet's backbone networks converge. The server has multiple redundant connections to the Internet, extremely high bandwidth, is supported by a professional staff, and offers the Mars Society and other organizations a lot of room for growth.
This server does not host the Mars Society home page located at http://www.marssociety.org/.
