Commander's Report

Today was the first full day of the crew at the Hab. The crew has assigned rotations for cooking/cleaning as well as showers. We were visited in the morning by Crew 96 Commander to finalize engineering refits.

The crew spent the day preparing for the science projects and performing reconnaisance of the area surrounding the Hab. Recon was performed by foot and also by HabCar to explore a larger area around the Hab.

Additional tasks for tonight include the safety briefing by the Health & Safety Officer; as well as a 'bucket brigade' to refill the in-Hab potable water supply.

Tomorrow will consist of final preparations and training in preparations for the Sim, preparing experiments for the Sim, and then entering the Sim and the Food Study in the morning.
