EVA 19 Report

Crew Members: Jim and Sandstorm

Site Location: Right outside of the HAB airlock. West.

Transit Mode: Foot

Objectives: To test connectivity with Sandstorm and Maxnet. In between EVA 18 and EVA 19, Sandstorm connected successfully while back inside the Hab. We replaced her with fresh batteries and took her outside again.

Results: Sandstorm was not connecting to the computer while outside the Hab. Maxnet was having issues being stable and Sandstorm, for the second attempt at connecting outside the Hab with the router outside as well, RunWizard did not find her.

Lessons Learned: Sandstorm does not have a problem connecting inside the Hab. It may be interference that prevent a successful connection with the router outside the Hab.
