The task force's Coordinator and Coordination Committee is responsible for implementing
the politicies set by the task force's committees. The Political Strategy Committee writes political policy statements for the Mars Society.
These statements are subject to the approval of the Society's Steering Committee and Board of
Directors. The Public Outreach Strategy Committee defines strategies for the Mars Society's public outreach. The Quick Action Team, a subset of the Political Strategy Committee, collects information on
political activities for the task force. When events require an immediate response, the Quick Action
Team handles the formulation of the response.
