Overview
The focus of this second issue of Ares: The Mars Society's CD-ROM Magazine is educational
outreach. We have gathered curriculum on Mars from all over the world and
added background information about the planet. We have an extensive
archive of missions from the past, present, and future.
We offer a complete Mars atlases for reference and viewing. We've included
a special screensaver package from the Mars DVD (permission was given by the DVD
producer who is a Mars Society member.) We also
feature information useful to Mars Society members, like high-resolution images
of the Mars Society slideshow. You can take the CD to a print shop and get
transparencies made of them. Also included is an archive of all official
Mars Society bulletins and much more.

Design Contest
We are having a contest to design
the cover of this Issue. Please submit your cover design ideas to the Ares
Mailing List -- the ones we don't use we'll post here on the website
like last time. The
focus of this issue is learning about mars and educational outreach, so design
your cover accordingly. Please do not use any works we require
permission to use -- NASA images & works are public domains so they can be
used. Click
here for last Issue's cover design contest.
