Hey, I hope to see as many of you as possible in Toronto!
As I am driving to Toronto from Seattle, I may be there a day early*, and also have some time after the conference, for fun-having or techno-pontificating and hob-nobbing (well, both of those latter are FORMS of fun-having!). I particularly crave coffee or beer fueled pontificating, although I enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner fueled as well. So if anybody is also going to be there early, give me a call on my cell phone (see next), and we can set something up.
My cell phone number is 888-285-9720 x 76771. It is a pay as-you go scheme with no "service" (e.g. no voice mail). I will try to remember to leave it on and be near it, from 7:00 to 10:00, local time wherever I happen to be at the time. I will be travelling from PDT starting Friday, and spending a couple of days in Ames, Iowa, then zooming to Toronto; you'll have to interpolate when to call from that. I will also try to keep it charged by staying at the occasional motel along the way :)!
I will read email one final time Friday morning at about 06:00 PDT.
*while also acknowledging the possibility of being late, in extremis!

Hi all,
I'll be in Toronto Thursday AM--I hope to see many of you there. Also, I present Sat. at 1 in the same session as Terry--we should plan to have a meeting while there to plan our future moves.
Safe travels.
