Summer 1999 Arctic Reconnaissance Mission
This past summer the Mars Society participated in the Haughton-Mars expedition by sending a
reconnaissance team to Devon Island. Their goal? Find a suitable location to build the MARS
base.
During the reconnaissance reports were received from the Arctic. As well Dr. Robert Zubrin,
