Any chance that Dave is going to this?

I myself would be interested in any computer models people use for life
support systems, or any mention of "Self-Organized Criticality" or "1/f
noise", or "fractals" relating to modeling life support systems.

I would bet that a LSS (or individual pieces of an LSS, such as a biofilter)
evolves towards a self-organized critical state, and that any model of such
a system has to take that into account. To read more on that topic I
recommend "How Nature Works" by Per Bak.

Hi all,

Thanks to Dean for finding out about this conference. I plan to attend at
least some of this. Check out the schedule at the website indicated
below--if there are any presentations you'd like me to try to attend, let
me know. If I can't make it to some, I'll at least try to pick up some
information.

Dave
