Say, I updated
http://home.marssociety.org/tech/life-support/htm/funstuff/logopatch.htm
with a bit more art.

Including old member Mike Hudson, and non-member Jim Flanagan, as they are
somewhat involved...

Some day we might want to revisit the Latin, and the acronym (like, if we
ever wanted to actually FABRICATE a mission patch), just to make sure. But
an any rate, quite the improvement, eh?

Thanks, Flanagan! I'll have to buy you an 18 year MacAllan (on 1/2 off nite,
of course...)

I wanted to do something simple. As the michigan chapter found out, the more
color & complexity you add, the more it's going to cost you for patches,
Mugs, etc. The current MS (full color) Logo is a great example. We priced it
to be too unreasonable to get a good return at a chapter level. Anyway, not
being an artist or very knowledgable about artistic software I just used
your basic MSpaintbrush. I would have made the outhouse a little more
realistic if I knew how.

Mike
